About me
I am entering my 11th year as a special education teacher, and my journey in education has led me to where I truly feel I belong: early childhood. About five years into my career, I discovered my passion for working with our youngest learners, and it has become my forever home. My heart is in supporting children with Autism and Autism Indicators by creating meaningful ways for them to connect, communicate, and experience the world around them. I love taking curriculum and making it accessible through social stories, adaptive books, and individualized, interest-based resources that are created with each child in mind. I believe every child has a unique perspective to share, and my goal is to walk alongside my students as they discover their strengths, build confidence, and find their own ways to shine.
